Yin Yoga

Service Description

Yin Yoga stretches and lengthens the muscles by holding poses for between 2-5 minutes. It encourages you to quiet your mind and listen to your body, giving up any ideas about yoga should look and instead turning your focus inward to how the pose feels. There is no "one size fits all" in Yin, its a practice that celebrates individuality and acknowledges that every body looks, feels and moves differently. The beauty of Yin is that it gives you the time and space to figure out what works for you. Yin can often be challenging, mentally and physically, but it will allow you the time to be present and still in a world that is constantly over stimulating. Yin Yoga incorporates principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to gently restore your body's natural energy flow - reducing stress, relieving tension and allowing you to find more space in the mind and the body.
